Togetherness is what creates progress. Progress is what creates change. To make our world a better place, we need inspiring people with strong values, willpower and the drive to do good.
In June 2022, we set off on a journey. We were six people, traveling to three locations with one vision: Show progress. Find those who inspire. Make visible the unknown people that stand for change.
Along our journey we met Ica, Arsal and Jesmin who shared their unique stories – our three episodes, our portraits of change.

An ocean waste activist.

Ica was born up-country. The first time she saw the ocean, she felt an instant connection. There are many lessons she learnt from the fishermen.

The factory is powered by 100% solar energy. Annualy, Karachi has 2,953 sun hours. That's twice as much as Hamburg's average amount.

Jesmin has two daughters. She is proud to be able to support them and help with their studies. "I want them to reach for the stars."

During training, Jesmin learnt about communication and leadership. After two months, she was ready to be a supervisor.
OUR JOURNEY
At Tom Tailor, we believe in lasting collaborations and partnerships. We work close with the factories where we produce.
So, when starting our journey, we knew that we wanted to meet the people that the Tom Tailor crew has been working with for years. We wanted to meet the change makers, the men and women that inspire progress. With strong values and visions. Unique identities and ideas. Always standing up for what they believe in. Never not trying to make the world a better place.
Our journey challenged us. It changed us. We gained a new perspective on what really matters in life. We realised anything is possible, when we stay open-minded and commit ourselves to progress.
We met people with unique pasts and presents, united by the idea of creating a better future.
