The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a globally recognised sustainability standard that has been certifying textiles made from organically produced natural fibres since 2006. GOTS tests against environmental and social criteria along the entire textile production and supply chain and thus offers companies the opportunity to meet the increasing demand of environmentally conscious consumers for ecologically, sustainably and socially responsibly produced textiles.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) verifies the percentage of organically grown material and tracks it from source to final product. Organic cotton is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards, which require practices to sustain ecosystems.​

Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled material that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, social, environmental, and chemical criteria related to processing are required.

Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) contain recycled material that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product.

The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) requires animal welfare practices to be in place at duck and goose farms in the down and feather supply chain

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) describes and independently certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool fibre production and tracks the certified material from farm to final product.

The Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) requires animal welfare and responsible land management practices to be in place at the goat farm.

The Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) verifies alpaca fibre animal welfare and land management requirements and tracks it from farm to final product
